Hate Crime Awareness Week

During this year's Hate Crime Awareness Week, students explored the impact and consequences of prejudice and hostility toward others

Students learned that hate crimes can involve discrimination based on race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or gender identity. To demonstrate their support, students wrote messages on large posters, which will be displayed prominently around the school.

“If you commit a Hate Crime you may end up in jail which could ruin your life.” Divine.U

“It is bad to be rude and hurtful to people, and it can affect their lives because of hate.” Elsie-Mae.L

“Hate Crime Awareness is important because everyone deserves kindness and respect, no matter who they are.” Molly.N

“You should never bully people; it is rude and disrespectful.” Ralph.B
