The Lower Academy recently welcomed renowned musician Randolph Matthews, who
delivered a fun and engaging beatbox & singing workshop to a group of our Year 7 students.
To celebrate British Science Week, Lower Academy students enjoyed taking part in a variety of different experiments and workshops of scientific discovery.
Well done to our School Nurse Champions for recently delivering a professional & insightful presentation to Heads of Services & Managers of the Essex Child & Family Wellbeing Service.
Students launch UKHarvest Food & Fuel Project
On Tuesday 21st February, the Lower Academy welcomed guests from the food rescue charity UKHarvest and, UK Power Networks with a new environmental project aimed at reducing food waste.
During Children’s Mental Health Week, students took part in a range of activities in addition to our regular focus on mental health & wellbeing throughout the year.
In order to support families with the cost of living, we are delighted to offer an after-school Tea Time Club free of charge to our Year 7 & 8 students.
As part of Children’s Mental Health Week & to help encourage positive wellbeing, the Lower Academy welcomed parents to join with their children in a special cooking class.
