Pi Day 2025

On Friday 14th March, Lower Academy students celebrated Pi Day with a variety of exciting and educational activities.

During a special drop-down session, students explored the significance of the mathematical constant π (3.14...), offering them a hands-on opportunity to engage with real-life math applications.

Throughout the session, students tackled Pi-themed puzzles, solved real-world math challenges, and even shared their best Pi jokes!

From understanding the history of Pi to discovering its practical uses, students enjoyed an interactive and informative celebration.

“I really enjoyed this session. I didn’t know much about Pi before, but I found it very useful to learn about it in Year 7. I now feel confident talking to anyone about Pi.” Ellen.D – Year 7
